The golden fish

This Creole English story comes from the European translation; you will note the presence of crowns, thrones, and other artifacts unusual on the Atlantic Coast. The language used is also somewhat bookish, and the original transcription, published in John Holm's 1987 book, had many elements of standard English. The version presented here has been slightly creolized by CIDCA workers.
