Abstract

In this article, the authors offer to the scientific community and the population in general the results achieved through the linguistic research project for the description, documentation and revitalization of the Rama language of the Caribbean Coast, which belongs to the Chibcha linguistic family. In this effort to rescue the Rama language, three phases can be clearly identified where the three axes of the project are mixed: description of an unknown language, rescue of a language that is about to disappear, and documentation of this language for academic purposes, but mainly to support its revitalization.
