“We signed up with the strength that offers change” (interview with Brooklyn Rivera)

Abstract

In this interview, the YATAMA leader talks about strategy that has organization to establish alliances with different national parties in the past. He especially discusses the current electoral agreements signed with the FSLN.  Brooklyn Rivera also analyses the current course of the demarcation process on the Atlantic Coast and he assesses the role played by the Demarcation and Titling (CONADETI) in this process. He indicates that YATAMA is interest in proposing its own forms of participation of regional party organizations, and finally states YATAMA's future and how intends to be an organization open to all sectors of Costeño society.
