Abstract

This article is based on a study of the almond the tree species (Dipteryx oleifera, type Leguminoceae) in a tropical forest of Nicaragua’s Caribbean Coast. The author confirms the hypothesis that recollection, predation, germination and the distance covered by these seeds are different when these seeds have different densities and are distant from the mother tree. Through this research the author finds out the seeds’ where abouts and contributes to scientific progress in the field of spreading / predation of D. oleifera
