The cultural face of the Nicaraguan's Caribbean Coast.

This article is a literary critique of the main coastal writers and painters. It states that if culture is the face of a people, the Nicaraguan Caribbean is a dramatic survivor of the secular abandonment inflicted on its people. The few faces that we have news of there through the official tradition imposed by the Pacific intelligentsia are counted on the fingers of one hand. What we know of its creators is so little that we know virtually nothing. Its cultural history is yet to be written, and as far as I know, it will have to be written by its artists themselves.
