Abstract

Last March 6-7, the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination issued concluding observations to the official report submitted by the state of Nicaragua on this issue. Because of the importance of this document, we represent it in this issue of Wani. It should be noted that, for the analysis of the report presented by the State of Nicaragua in Brussels, the UN committee also took into account the comments made on the report by the following Nicaraguan civil society organizations: the Indigenous Movement of Nicaragua (MIN), the Center for Human Rights of Indigenous Peoples (CADPI) and the Center for Human Rights of the Atlantic Coast (CEDEHCA).
