Anansi, the jar of knowledge and the hidden treasure (short story)

Abstract

One warm, sunny afternoon in September, while a group of children were playing ball on the main street of Barrio Beholden, in Bluefields, a lady, well into her old age, who seemed to have come walking from far away, sat down to get some air, while watching the children play. Alexa, the oldest of the group, approached her and asked if she was okay, sitting down next to her. The older woman simply nodded as she took a breath of air.
