Abstract

CAMP-Lab is a CIDCA-UCA project, whose objective, since it began in 1993, has been to raise awareness and to increase knowledge on environmental issues among the members of most Pearl Lagoon communities.  This article analyzes the role the project has played in encouraging community-based participation in environment protection through communication (radio and the information bulletin, Awake).
