Abstract

This article analyzes the photographic itinerary taken by Maria José and Claudia along and wide of Caribbean Nicaraguan.  According with the authors, every image caught on this journey does not have to do with the images suggested by the motto given to the Atlantic Coast by mestizos of the Pacific in the 80's:  "The Giant that awakes".  These pictures give testimony of the Epiphany of the multiethnic conscience of many indigenous people and ethnic communities regarding the Autonomy Project.
