This work is related with the investigations and analysis fundamentally of a judicial character which the author did around the problem of possession of landmarks on the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua, and the judicial nature of the growing demands on behalf of the indigenous communities of the region. Being this so, as he studies these demands, he does this under a world context, specifically, a latinamerican context. Far this he does a historical analysis of the origin of racial discrimination during the conformation of the Nation States, and various efforts that have been done internationally through agreements against such discrimination. It also presents the answers of various latinamerican countries to the de mands for possession of landmarks by the indigenous people.
